It wont help too much but it will make the car better to drive and make hte tranny last longer

Corrects / Prevents / Reduces: Prevents direct drum blowout caused by runaway line pressure. Burned 3 - 4 clutches. No 2nd. No 3rd after 3 - 2 or 4 - 2 kickdown. Direct clutch (3rd) inner seal leaks, wears or opens up due to rotating force. Corrects long or soft 1 - 2 and 2 - 3. Has High-Temp low shrink rings

Im guessing I need to take out the whole tranny for this

No, you would only have to remove your valve body. Simply remove the tranny pan, remove the valve body and then take the valve body apart and hope it all works when you put it back together.

I would highly recommend that you don't attempt this yourself. I would only trust Maximum Tuning or Rob at NRH to do this. They have both proven themselves to make their customers happy with valve body recalibrations.

*edit: Oh yeah, don't expect this mod to help your 1/4 mile times at all unless you are really pushing some power (280+fwhp). I didn't shave any more than a tenth in the 1/4 mile. Also, if you chose Max Tuning or NRH to mod your VB, then expect to pay a little over $300.
