Why don't you do it instead of commanding the members on here to do it. The majority of us would better spend our time at a dyno tuning rather than tinkering with that uselss shyt IMO.

were you 2 doing in your basement

Remote can reach 100+ feet with strong battery, how far was his car from him?

On my Maxima's remote I had really great range, it would work from 2 blocks away parked on the street from my friend's 9th story apartment in NYC.

B.S. He was probably still in range. The frequency of the remote's transmitter is too high to be picked up audibly through an phone. The compression/ distorition alone would kill any chance of a clear signal reaching across a cell phone line.

I'd go and try this out since my car is parked like a mile from my office building just to shut you up, but it's about a 100 degrees outside. Screw that.

I think ihadahonda's friend was laughing his but off. I sure wish I was in the basement, I can see myself watching him thru the window, amazed at how this is actually working.

Kinda OT, but do you guys ever put the remote to your chin to get more range? Now that is PROVEN to work. Don't know how and don't know why, but the human body can act like an antenna.

Sorta like how you stand next to a radio antenna to clear up the fuzzy radio reception

Umm...in the basement is not far from the car that's why I think it worked. If it really works through cellphones, I'd be amazed.

They forgot to say that for this thing to work keyfob has to be attached to a 12" subwoofer to increase resonance.

There are many veins under your chin that run through the rest of your body. I believe that most of you veins run via your chin. When you put the remote there, you body instantly acts as an antenna and the signal is increased via the rest of your body.

Some news channel is gonna come out and say this causes cancer or some sheit like that.
