That would be me I think....I bought the grille pre-meshed from SyCefiro a year or two ago. I have no idea how to go about doing this to ours since the one I have is a different grille design thatn on our cars....

I think the Stock grill with all the vertical bars cut out except for the middle one with the rest mesh would be hot. Color matchin mesh and infiniti emblem would top it off lovely IMO.

For instance, stock chrome grill with white emblem and white mesh...that **** would look fresh as hell. Would look even better than black on a black car.

anyway.... i am ready to do the fabrication today. i plan on cutting out the vertical slats and meshing the holes. any tips on cutting the grill? i am going to use a dremel and some cutting discs. i plan on cutting the slats leaving about 1mm to sand down so everything will be smooth. then i am going to remove the infiniti emblem and sand off the chrome (its pitted). i am going to paint the grill black and leave the mesh and the emblem chrome. any tips or ideas? thanks--dave

It'd look better with Grille being Chrome and Mesh being Black.. Unless you have a black car?
Or paing the grille your body color? that would work too!

Took the words right out of my mouth... Cut out the slats, paint the grille body color, and the mesh/emblem black... I planned on doing this with my stocker, but there are better things for me to be spending money on right now. I already have a grille I like... I just want another one so I can switch them out with my mood
