I have seen some 130/100W anything higher than the stock 45-65 and you WILL need the APC upgraded wire harness unless you have it already...how bright do you want???............ get a spotlight.....

Well i thought the higher the wattage---> higher the temp---> making it closer to the H.I.D look. Maybe?

higher wattage doesnt mean higher color temp (i believe that is what you are referring to). the 85w, or even the 100w bulb will still be the same yellow as the stock 55w bulb. the increase in wattage will give you more light, and more heat, but will not significantly change the "color" of the light (it might look whiter, but that is only because it is brighter, not whiter).

i put in catz zeta, and what it does it change the input voltage going to the lights, from 12v (i measured and got 12.7 before) to 14.4v. sending 14v thru the same bulb that normally runs at 12v will make the light brighter and a little whiter. but it was not a cheap upgrade ($200). i wouldnt compare it to a true HID, but i would say it was brighter and whiter than stock. oh, and im running them with piaa superwhites (55w).
