Progess w\ KYB AGX's Deal from Cattman

Hey guys...

Im looking into redoing whole my suspension on my 99 Max, and trying to find a good combo, but also a good deal.

Is anyone running the Progress Springs and KYB AGX combo from Cattman?

The drop seems nice, the adjustable struts are a plus, all for 550 seems great...but i wanted to see if anybody has any real world experience with this setup.

PICS AND REVIEWS WANTED!!!

Thanks guys!

DAN

Price sounds good for the setup. Dont know much about the progress springs.

Is your main goal comfort drop or a combo of both?

I would get the Tokico combo for that price. Illuminas>>>>AGX

My perfect combo:
Progress Springs
Tokico Illuminas

Im basically looking for a good combination of everything, ride height/handling/comfort/performance...its one of those things that i know im not going to be disappointed regardless what i do.

Cattman is selling the Progress springs for 160 a set which is a great deal, so i'm definitely going to go with these, as far as the springs im flexible.

I know Illumina's are better than the AGX's, but i havent been able to find a good deal on the Illumina's.

Anyone have a suggestions for finding a deal on a full set of Illumina's??

I'm going to call performancepeddler.com like maxmods.dyndns.org suggests and see if i can get a set for $408.

Thanks for all the replies so far guys, i appreciate the help.

i'm also looking into a new suspension. i know i'm definitely going with the illumina's, but i can't decide which spring to get. i'm stuck between tokico's springs, h&r's, and progress. from what i've read so far, it seems the tokico springs and h&r are pretty much the same. does anyone have either of these? can you tell me what the drop is like and how the ride is? the only thing is, the pics i've seen don't look like the kinda drop i want. they look nice, don't get me wrong. much better than the 4x4 look, but progress seems like the kinda drop i'm looking for. i only worry about the ride comfort and the performance of what i'm buying. here's a quote from ce's page:

Tests have shown a decrease in cornering abilities and ride comfort on many spring kits that are to low for the matched struts. Our springs, lower your Maxima 1.5" in the front and 1.3" in the rear. This is the ideal height for the best performance.

is this just a marketing ploy or is it true? please anyone with these setups offer your opinions.
