nice little roadkill i thought i'd tell you all about.
as some of you know i drive an '86 bmw 325 5 speed. its an alright little car most of the time.
anyway, this morning i get on the main road near my house going to school and i notice my friend is behind me (87 maxima auto) and i know as soon as the road splits we're going to race. the road splits, i am going about 35 i drop it into 3rd and he gets next to me i drop it into second (kickin like 3500). he nails and without me being ready so he gets 5 or so feet on me then i reeled him in by the time i hit 3rd again. the light ahead turns yellow then red, hes creepin up on the stop line and i'm just sittin there with my clutch mostly out (just below where it catches) revving to about 2500RPM. the light turns, i wait for my friend to take off then i punch it, dropping the clutch. since it was wet i got lots of wheel spin so i let off and nailed it again to get some traction while he got about 3 car lengths on me. i hit second and i'm pullin' on him real hard, shift to 3rd early (stupid me) and to my amazement i'm still pullin on him. i notice we're neck and neck then his auto hits overdrive and i keep going in 3rd, i snag about 2 lengths on him before i tap the breaks letting him know i was done (and stopped at the stop sign). it was a very fun little race.

second race. i'm sitting at the same light as i was this morning (only going the other way) and this punkass in a white 94 or so taurus pulls up next to me, i dont even bother letting the clutch out or revving, i just take off like i normally do (except i punch it when i'm off the clutch), what a joke, he couldnt get 2 feet on me, by the time i shifted to second it was over, then i get a punkass flyby a little ways down the road.

third race. i'm on my way to my algebra class which is about 35 minutes from my house and i'm driving my moms 93 explorer auto (damn this thing is a beast) and this kid in another first gen explorer pulls up next to me at a light yelling "race me you *****!" so i nod and look to the light on the other side, its yellow, i brake torque to 1200RPM (i didnt want to break the thing), light turns i punch it and leave the kid in the dust (well, water..it is still raining). i get to 75 (which is how fast i drive on the highway without any traffic) set the cruise and the punkass comes up next to me yelling "cheater! you have a manual!!" i just laughed and let him go. some people, geez.

looking for decent 3rd gen because parents are dragging feet with 4th gen loan.

Just don't get busted racing.
