Manual Tranny's only.


I broke the triangular plastic trim piece that surrounds the leather shift boot on my 6spd 2k2. I can not find this piece anywhere without purchasing the entire interior unit of which it is attached to, which is expensive. Ive checked with DaveB and local junkyards also.

The part is the silver plastic in the following picture which surrounds the leather boot.

You should try the 5th gen F/S forum. There's always someone parting out a Max in there.

 

are you under warranty?

nissan replaced the entire shift boot/plastic assembly because i broke one of the clips that secures the boot to the plastic... while installing my short-shifter LOL

i've milked my warranty for so much.... worth its weight in gold!

 

I checked every page of the f/s forum. No luck.


Cars well out of warranty, unfortunetly.
