procedures for 3.5L block swap

I was looking to do a 3.5 L block swap because some guy at a local yard wants to sell me the lower end from a 2004 maxima for 250 bucks. What are some of the things i need to do in order to make this work with my vq30? And is would there be a big difference in power?

If you need to ask, you shouldn't be doing it. And what's a "lower end?" Block only? Pistons, crank, and rods? Block, pistons, crank and rods?

If you want a 3.5L, just get the whole dam* motor and don't have a frankenstein motor.

Get the whole motor, it will make things much easier and save you many headaches. How much more expensive can it be to get the whole thing from the same source?

I agree that you also need to let us know what the "lower end" is.
