Stealership bendin me over?

wassup yall, quick question. i'm getting my stabilizer links/rods replaced due to the rattle over bumps and the knocking when turning the wheel all the way left. the dude told me its 198 to get them put in. i've never had this fixed on my car, so am i gonna be getting r@ped??

I don't know US prices too well, but what would possess you to get this fixed at a stealership? An independent shop that does suspension work should be more than adequate. Are you going to need a wheel alignment shop? If so, just go to a shop that does front end work.

Instead of posting this here with insufficient information for us to answer it, why not pick up the phone book, call some other shops/dealers, and ask what they'd charge for the repairs?

that dealer is taking your money. the nissan dealer that i work at doesnt charge that much to install. or is this with parts and labor already?

i have the parts already, was just trying to see how much people paid for theirs so i'll know if the stealership is rapin me. some of the shops around my way have been doing shoddy work, which is why i called the dealer. so be easy paralyse, i have reasons for asking. and Polak wassup man, now that the bills are going away its time for me to catch up tp you. in the spring i should have some goodies done.
