Need Help Replacing Fog Lite Bulbs
I have a 00 maxima and am replacing the fog lite bulbs... i got the directions off http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/piaa_fogs.html but it says to unplug wiring harness...which i did and remove the splash guard and jack up the car i did all that stuff...but when it says remove teh two BOLTS and push forward to push out the housing?? i have no idea what bolts they are talkign about! i see one screw on the bottom of the housing connected to the blockhousing thats like hooked upto the bumper (theres like the fog lite..in a black case housign...hooked on to another black housing thats connectd to the bumper) its hard to explainb ut if you look u kno what i mean. anyways waht two bolts are they talkign about?? do they mean that one screw i found and another screw? or is it those two triangle plastic things at the top two corners of the black housing of the fog lites?? if anyone knows just tell me cuz the stupid housing is loose but wont come out it feels like its hooked up to somethign on top cuz the bottom looks like it could come out if nothign was holding it back...thanks if anyone can help
ok man i FINALLY got it.... for peoples info on this that had trouble like me....on the 2000 maxima...after you take off the splash guard and all that stuff on the actual black housing of the fog light there are two plastic triangle things on the top corners fo the housing...to take these off you ahve to wedge teh screwdriver inbetween the housing and the tab and pry them off....i guess when it said remove the two bolts they meant those plastic things which arent bolts at all but ya...ne ways you pry those off , they wont come off completely but the metal bar that is in the center of the plastic tabs will be pushed in (plastic pushed out) and then the fog light assembly will easily pulled out of your bumper. well i finally know how to do this and it is ridiculously easy now that i know what to pop out, ne ways thanks for your help Lontar1
