Carcus is back after Katrina....Max is OK.

A bit of time has taken place....evacuated Biloxi on the 28th of Aug....went to Dothan Alabama until about 6 Sept...drove the Max then all the way to Holloman AFB in New Mexico. Still leaving for Iceland....new report no later date is 30 Nov. Our house in Biloxi sustained minor damage and we finally got all our household items delivered on Friday. Just wanted to keep you all updated. One of the 20" tires went flat on the way going over the Pensicola bridge due to a faulty tire pressure valve stem monitoring cap. Other than that, car was fine in the over 2000 mile trip. Thanks to all. Ramberg....good to see pics of your ride fixed. Right now all, just glad to have a computer hooked up and the Max safe. Be well all!!! Next stop....Iceland next month and the family out here at Holloman New Mexico. The F-117 are some awsome looking planes I have to add.

Yeah, my wife and i were based in Biloxi a year a go or so, we lived in D'iberville, which was demolished that i heard of. We lived in the Arbor View Apts right across the Dodge Dealership and D'iberville City Hall i believe... I loved it there, except for the State.. I hate MS, because the way they treat you there. Poor State.

Glad to hear you made it out safely.. If my wife didnt get out of the military (NAVY - weather) we would have been there still today, and most likely out of a place to stay except for on base.. ARG!! Take Care, and good luck on your career... LAter.............

Yep, feels good to be back and blessed with all my stuff. We lost some of the roof tiles, but the house was intact....except for the car port that was gone. Glad we bugged out. Neighbors lost their SUV when a tree fell on it and the house. We had no tree in the front yard so lucked out. Right now pretty happy for the time in Alamogordo New Mexico....thing that sucks is there is no Nissan dealer out here....Las Cruces is the closest and about 1 hr away. Still have to get my roof chrome trim replaced. Family is well and adjusting to the small town....very small. Nice to have only seen 3 Maximas around here. Makes me feel special....hehehe. Thanks for all the kind words all. Also, thank God for XM radio during the evacuation and the rear monitors with a video game for the kid to keep him happy.

Right now, just glad it is OVER!!! Hurricane seasons are a thing of the past for me and the damn humidity.
