heel-toe downshifting

Anyone have any tips on how to heel-toe in this car? the brake pedal is a little too close to me compared to the already-smallish throttle pedal. It would be nice if it were the other way around. Right now when I try to heel-toe I end up braking way too hard.

i was going to post this in the general forum, but I dunno if the pedals would feel any different in another car.

Why would you wanna heal-toe?? Are you into auto-crossing or drifting?

check the auto-x section, there are threads about heel-toe-ing and ways to do it easier.

for around town driving the pedal setup isn't great, but at the track having the brake pedal start higher than the gas puts it in perfect position when doing hard braking into a turn. I found that with new pedals (gas pedal is wider) from one of the GD's and using the left and right side of my foot as opposed to true heel/toe made it much easier to do.

Nope. In fact, I hate the idea of drifting. I want to rev match while braking before a turn, and I love the sound.

I revv match w/o having to heel-toe. You don't need to brake if all you want to do is revv match. Unless you are approaching a turn real fast and you want to hit the brakes and revv match. But you have to be coming in awefully fast to do that. All you really have to do in most cases is to make sure that you tap the gas enough for the RPM to climb at the anticipated RPM by the time you hit the lower gear.
