New Foglights

New foglights. I found them both after many trips to many junkyards. It was worth it.

Total cost was about $40. I hosed myself by buying the relay at a dealer. I don't know what I was thinking.

I'll look into replacing the bulbs.

I just bought new fogs the dumbass way. bought aftermarket ones for $200. In any case you should do what i did... buy the 3M clear film and put it on the fogs so they dont get cracked by pebbles

Good idea. My cousin put the 3M on his 03 maxima foglights. Those lenses crack very easily.

Anybody know any good ways to clean the fog off of old foglights. One of the lights is nice and clear. The other is pitted and looks foggy. I tried plastic polish and chrome polish. Neither worked very well.

Picked-up two right foglights from ythe junkyard today. Both have broken pieces that I'll have to fix before they can be attached to a car. Picked-up the little black plastic screw covers too. I talked to two dealers. One sold these things for $13 each. The other sold them for $13 and $21. They're a tough find at the junkyard.

Great find man!! You should try to rewire them now so they can be used without your headlights or with them when you want.

You do need that stalk, or you can wire up another switch elsewhere to use to turn your fogs on, just need to wire it in to the relay under the hood, to complete the circuit on the signal wires on the relay.

to polish the fog lights and the headlights go at the autozone and ask one of the sales reps and they will give u the right product.

They are some kind of send polishers and it works. it cost me about 6 bucks and i did my headlights i am telling you u can see the difference, they are bright.

hope it helps

just my 2c worth.

my guess is you have plastic headlights. not the same as glass foglights. plastic polish will not cut it.

there is this guy i know who buffs his windshields. i have no idea what he uses but its out there.
