Custom Maxima STS. Due to problems with the design of the shifter realized after install. And due to my stupidity during install.

shaved emblems. there is a VERY noticable maxima mark there, no matter what I do. I am a detailer, and have tried EVERYTHING imaginable, its just shinier under there than the rest will ever be. Wont matter if i get the repaint im praying for, but until then gahhh!

Hmm... let me start. CE red/clear taillights, warpspeed super-flo y-pipe (removed a long time ago), shortening the automatic shift ****, putting led's in the gauges, hacking the stock airbox (got rid of the hacked one a long time ago too)... that's all I can think of right now.

Spending money that would've gotten me close to a supercharger but instead spending it on stereo.

But once i turn it up, my regret soon turns into a smile

Mods I regret spending money on:
ACT clutch
Fidanza Flywheel
Stillen Y-pipe (when I could have gotten a WS for nearly half the price)
PR CAI (what a complete waste of money, I should have just stuck with the JWT pop charger and stock airbox!)
Aftermarket Struts (Harsh, Harsh ride)

First of all, I regret buying this particular car. (modded and abused)
Then I regret not spending more money towards brakes and stereo.

oh well hindsight is always 20/20......

Cold air intake was the worst...it blew out my MAF and KS...and then later ended up falling off in the driveway. I went to the hacked air box...and didnt like it. Now about 600 bucks later..Im completely stock.

i regret buying a stillen y-pipe that cost more and gave me that fcking bees in the can sound. i regret buying a test-pipe and cutting out my cat when the bolts broke cuz now i can't pass emissions and i'm wasting more money trying to do that. i regret buying a cheap catback exhaust "cuz it didn't matter for hp gains" but the tip looks gay as hell and the piping rattles in the back whenever my car hits a bump

I shaved my emblems, painted them flat black and stuck them back on.

I don't reget painting them, it looks great, but I didn't have any hot glue or weather proof double stick tape so I used orange silicone gasket maker, and it was harder to touch up than I thought.

I guess I just regret my methods, I tried to scrape away the extra slicone, and it took of the black paint.

I just need to shave them again & repaint. This time I got outdoor double stick paint.

I regret my previous custom made catback w/out resonator. Sounded like sh#t. Also my dash kit; should've painted it. That's about it.

Ummmmmmmm, the Bomz CAI I got off eBay before doing research. As you can see I'm trying to sell it and NO ONE WANTS IT!!!!! It sucks to wake up every day and see that worthless thing sitting in the corner. As for the things I have actualy done to my car, I'm happy with them.

Someone on here posted earlier about how they wish they could get a stock max, and start from scratch again.
In a way I feel the same... From this point on i'm gonna save up and do one mod at a time, i'm going to get my car in 100% running condition, clear all my CEL's, get new tires, put some softer springs on, put my emblems back on, get new motor mounts, tranny mounts, and all new suspension bushings and SFC's if I can, put stock catback back on, and wait to get cattman headers, and the Apexi WS2 catback when it comes out.
From that point i'm gonna save up for cams/ecu/manifold.
Then put a SC on with a low boost level, and drive the hell out of it everyday.

I did the corner light mod. Cracked them. You can try Ebay to replace them or CE.

I sold all the **** i hated to my cousin which is the project beater gxe.
i made mistakes on the 96 se and i tried to stray away from the bad, ie painted tails, aftermarket lights, mesh, painted engine bay parts.
im still in the middle with the RSB. i like what it does for handling but i dont like what it does for comfort.
