Post 0-60 and 1/4 Mile Times for Your Max

Hey. I think it would be great if we could all post our 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, as well as the mods we've done to our Max's to achieve those times. I'm not sure if this has been done before, sorry if it has, but I thought it would be a good reference for noobs (like me :-P).

I think a format something like this would be most informative and constructive (I've given my car as an example):

car:1995 Nissan Maxima SE (automatic)
mods: cold air intake
0-60 time: idk the exact time yet, but I know it is around 7.5s
1/4 mile time: idk yet

We have a sub-forum designed for this. It's under the name "1/4 and 1/8th mile drag" or something like that. In there you can find a list of times, especially in the "moderated timeslips" section of that forum.

Lol this board's been around for 5 years bud, you think out of the 50,000 members we have no one's thought of this? Check the 1/4 mile forum would be my advice.

I know this is OT but so is this thread.

I suggested to the mods some time back that perhaps the board should be cleaned up so that only active members remained, but that recommendation was rejected because supposedly some members only pop in from time to time.

However, I suspect if one were to delve further one would find that only a fraction of the 55,421 members are truly active, eg. have been on in the last 6 months and made more than say 5 posts during that period.

I should start a poll as to how many "active" members there are on the .org.

I doubt that its 10,000 and probably more like 6,000 to 7,500.

I suspect the counter argument would be that some members never post and my rebuttal would be "who needs them."

I bet there's less than 1000 active members. Lots of people make a name and never come back.

Just jump around a bit on the membership list and you'll see what I am talking about and what Nealoc187 is reinforcing. I suspect there are more than 1,000 active members, but who knows?

hey guys i have been arround for about a year now and i still dont know the in's and out's of the forum u guys consider me a noob from time to time, its not cool. we are all on the forum for one reason to ask questions, get help, show off, and chat from time to time about our cars. instead of hacking up some new guy we should just pm him and tell him where he needs to go.
