I'm a retard, first of all, so I'm sorry if this is already posted somewhere. I couldn't find it though. I've got one out and wasn't sure what my options were for replacing the bulbs. BTW it's a 2000. Thanks to all who offer advice

 

Yeah, you can. You'll need H3 bulbs. Here's a write-up someone did recently:

i recommend sylvania silverstars

 

same here...have sylvania silverstar fogs, bright, and they dont BLOW OUT like all those other crappy bulbs. Great overall product but like all head and fog bulbs. DONT TOUCH THE BULB WITH UR BARE HANDS!!! IT WILL BLOW IT OUT EVENTUALLY!!

 

and it if you don't touch the bulb with your bare hands, it will blow out eventually. i've never found the old "touch the bulb" theory to be true - or to take enough life out of the bulb to matter.

 

i recommend oem bulbs as any other bulb, IMO, won't do a lick of difference. may match but whatever, to me that don't mean much.

also, to change it up a bit, i remove my headlight and have complete access to the fog area, which IMO is so much easier than laying on my back.

Any bulb will eventually burn out. If you touch the bulb, the oils from your fingers will cause the bulb to blow quicker.

I've had PIAA H3's for about a year and they're fine. I used a clean rag when installing them to make sure I didn't touch the bulb.
