When I turn the steering wheel all the way to the far left when stopped and not in gear. I can hear it groaning/creaking only when it's turned to the far left all the way. The power steering fluid level is good. What can it be? No driveability issues though.

What shape are your CV's in?

If it wasn't obvious I would try to have someone turn the wheel while I was under the car. You may be able to check off many possible causes that way.

Axle is pretty much brand new... the strut boot the rubber piece is shot to all hell, lol but I doubt it does much. Also with the car jacked up and me turning the wheel the noise disappears it's only when the tire has a load on it. So I think it might be strut mount related what do you guys think?

Could also be a bad strut bearing...

1) if the rubber covering that protects the axel is shot then its the axel, 2) if the rubber covering that protects the lower control arm ball bearing is shot you need to replace bearing or buy new control arm from http://www.importspecialistsofamerica.com about 50 bucks. 3) could also be the wheel bearings and hub- do a search on this you will find alot of info.

May the force be with you.
