HELP!!! With fog light re-wire

I tried to re-wire my fogs today according to housecor's instructions. But I can't get the corner tabs out by the wheel side. His instructions say to use something small and pointed to push out the tabs, and I did. When I pushed it in, I can feel and sorta see a tab being pushed to the side. But it won't give!!! How did you guys do it? Thanks!

When I rewired my fogs I ended up just breaking that tab. I tried for about 5min to be nice to it....then I just had enough and broke it off.

I did push in and try to pull it up, to no avail. It seems that even if I was to get one corner out, the middle 2 tabs and the other corner is still holding it down.

Haha patience, I tried that sh*t for like 30min. OK, will try again tomorrow. So just to clarify:

For corner tabs, use small tool to just push in while pulling on the fuse box right?

Take out your fuse box cover and stick your hand up there and push out...

OK I got it done! I guess the difficulty I was having was because yesterday the weather was low 30s and the plastic might've been really hard. But today after doing some errands, I tried again and the corner tabs pushed out easily.

So note to future fog light re-wire peeps, do it in hot weather or when engine bay is warm.

Hey kevin...in your procedure, I see that your foglights are coming on without the corners in one of the pictures....I know that housecor's website and a few other write-ups require your corner lights to be on with the fogs....is yours the only procedure that allows you to turn on your fogs without any corners?

sweet...I think i'mma run it your way since I don't have to turn on the corner lamps...My old maxima had the foglight rewire mod, but they were wired up to my corner lamps...
