Somethings wierd is happening to my car

My car has been driving very strange lately. When I shift into 2nd and give it full throttle my car jerks. Same thing when I do that with 3rd. Its kind of wierd any inputs? I know my coils are all good, timings good (cam, crank sensors), knock sensors good.

Have you checked your tranny fluid?

Maybe you are not Shifting Properly.

I am shifting properly but my flywheel needs to be resurfaced. I can feel the shakeyness of it. I am thinking my car needs a new injector? I think its number 3, im not sure though.

Your clutch is probably on it's last breath, you should go get it checked out to be safe and certain.

no but someone said something about my tranny. So i brought up the clutch problem....... and i dont know how a jerkyness could be caused by a transmission. It was just getting off topic

Jekyness can be caused by a bad or a worn clutch. If your Injector goes bad, your engine will MissFire and you will get a lot of engine Shake, And it feels like you are driving a Kia.

I could be wrong, wait for others to give feed backs, but I hear good things about this brand.

IMO, CE is too expensive, you should just go with stock parts unless you are serious about power.

My auto's shifts are a bit jerky under medium-to-hard acceleration, 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Clutch you recon?

My car does the same exact thing, and especially when it is cold outside. The problem wears off as the car heats up.

i talked to a mechanic today and he said that it would not be the clutch making the jerking. He said if the clutch was bad, it would not engage properly. He said try going from 1st to 3rd gear and if the RPM's jump and go back down then i would need a new clutch. The problem is most likely a misfire.

It could be a bad Fuel Injector, but in most cases you will get a SES light. Scan the computer to retrieve the codes before opening a Thread.
That should give you enough to start with, and if you don't find any codes, go to another mechanic.
Good Luck.

The TCC solenoid is located in the transmission on the valve body. To verify that this is causing your problem, disconnect the four wire plug that plugs into the side of the transmission and drive the car. If your problem is cured, replace the solenoid.
