SE-L, 5th gear while flooring it

When I push the pedal all the way to the floor while in 5th gear, I get some hesitation, then the service light blinks 4x???

Possibilities:
Fuel filter, injectors, coil pack going bad? spark plug?

Damn those coil packs, it would make things so much easier if they weren't so difficult to test... meaning, NOT having to individually use a OHMeter.

::grin::

What exactly is the value/range of a good coil pack, in ohms?

Haynes manual gives the values. Also, you need to need to test between the right pins, there are 3 to chose from.

one note*

my coil problem was intermittent.. i checked it with a fluke, and it was fine. But when the coil was put under load it wouldn't work, or some times it would.
