Replace clutch hydraulic system?

I have a 95 5spd. I just recently got my transmission rebuilt at nissan and had a new clutch put in at the same time. The clutch was a spec stage 2. My mechanics at nissan told me I need to now replace my clutch hydraulic system because the pressure from the pressure plate is too much for what I have now. The clutch has to be like on the floor for me to shift and then about an inch off the floor is where is lets out.The clutch is not dissengaging everytime due to the pressure leaks. He was saying the master and slave cylinder being so old with the new pp putting more pressure on the system is causing the leaks to not hold enough pressure to push back. He said the seals get old and as soon as I replace the slave, master, and one of the lines that is leaking it will be fine. Is this true? also I really like how the spec clutch grabs tho I heard its not goin to last long..is that true also? Thanks guys - Matt

Hey I just had my tranny rebuilt / clutch and I'm having the same prob, clutch lets out about 1" from the floor, not the normal sensitivity. Not sure how to go about doing that though.

the master cylinder should be fine, just make sure there are no leaks in the line. Also, being a hydraulic system, it has to be bled, and our cars have a upper and lower bleeder. You could try bleeding the system, and seeing if that works. i would definitely upgrade the lines with stainless steel ones though.
