why does my alternator belt squeal on startup...

why does my alternator belt squeal on startup...

I was wondering why the alternator belts squeals on startup its so annoying and loud. Is their any way to fix this i just changed the belt like a week ago hoping it would get rid of the squealing but no luck

Just check the tension and retighten according. It's perfectly normal for a new belt to stretch slightly after it's been broken in.

i have the unorthodox UDP is their a certain belt that i need to use for it or is the oem nissan belt fine ?

That changes things. You should be using a shorter belt with any UDP.

I think those sizes are way off between the 2. Don't be worried that something will happen right away but get the right sized belt in the future.
