Ok sear got my tires in and last night they tried mounting them.
Well their alloy machine wasn't strong enough to break the bead on my potenza re71's! and in the process they scraped up the lip of my drivers side front rim!

Luckily this time The borbet type r's are still being made and sear is gonna replace the one they tried to dismount the tire from. Last time my type M's were discontinued so I got the type R's

On top of that I have to find another installer to take care of the mounting

Off my installer list:
Goodyear
Sears

Your rims aren't even that big, right? That's pathetic that they can't mount a tire on a 16" or 17" rim.

Peter,
Ask around and find out where all the M3 or Proshe owners take their cars. These guys go through tires yearly. I would only take my rims to speciality shops. They know how to take the car and treat $$$ wheels. Never go to Merchant, NTB, Sears or Goodyears...etc. I would not let the same guy that bust civic hubcap rims all day long touch my TE-37,

I plan to go to Detail Works to hopefully get the job done right. I'm also planning to mount tires that have a wear rating of 500 so I won't have to deal with this for a long time!
How come you didn't make it to the LSP meet? Me missed you
