2k2-2k3 seats are sportier. They have better lateral support then 00-01 seats.........go for it

2k2-2k3 does not plug right into 2k/2k1.... some ppl have claimed it to work....but my driver side seat from a 2k2 does not get power in my 2k....passanger works fine though... but for 200 it's definately worth it, u could always just change the motor over from your car into the new seat and then it will work fine....

I have an 03. Seats are utter crap for support. I wouldn't bother unless you are getting them super cheap. Pick up a nice set of Recaro seats instead. Night and day difference.

I think the 2k2-2k3 seats are more luxerious and less sporty than the 2k-2k1

I have both cars and I can tell you which one grabs me better. The 2k2 are HUGE, I like the headrests on the 2k2-2k3

I bought my 2k maxima se, and the previous owner did the swap aswell. I have the 2k2-2k3 black leather seats, front and rear. The power seats work perfectly fine, and so does my heated seats. The only problem I am having, is that I don't have the key to unlock the rear bench's lumbar so I can get to the trunk, only one portion (the 60 out of the 60/40) is unlocked, the other side is locked. Thats the only problem I have.

The 2k-2k1 seats are to flat and have absolutely no lateral support. The maxima is a sporty sedan not a sports seden so how supportive do you expect them to be. And yes the headrest on the 2k2-2k3 are pretty sweet......

Like I said I think the 2k-2k1 seats are much more sportier than the 2k2-2k3 so just swap out the motor

boondoxmax I didnt say they are racing seats(recaro etc) but they look sportier than the 2k2-2k3. The cuts on the seats are sharper and less flat than the 2k2-2k3 but everyone and his opinon. I could really care less haha

From the look of them, they look as though they should fit. I haven't heard of anybody doing this, but I think they should be bolt ons. The body of the car didn't expand to fit the larger seats and the center console looks the same. I'd do some measurements or get somebody who knows before I did anything though.
