The noise is coming from the front passenger side strut or something close to it. Only happens when i turn the steering wheel either driving or standing still. I only have to turn the steering wheel slightly to hear this noise, turning it past a certain point eliminates the sound. Sounds very similar to sound of a screeching door or a creaking old floor. I replaced the struts about a year ago and all the parts are new. The noise started occuring about a week ago.

 

check your springs to see if they are seated right. Have someone turn the wheel while you are looking underneath your Max so you can pinpoint the problem.
