Do you guys know what I'm talking about? I saw the Passat and Honda's washer nozzles and they all spray across the whole windshield. Mine only squirts. Can I just buy a set from VW or H dealership and put them on?

the murano ones spray a mist rather than a stream....just go to the dealer and they're pretty cheap, although i can't remember the price...

i bought a pair from autozone a few months ago that look stock, they work pretty good. Its a horizontal spray, that might work for you. They are also adjustable (height wise), it came with a little metal piece to use for adjusting.

holy crap, I was just wondering this today, and wanted to start a thread about it, but my account won't let me. The stock 2 jet nozzles are useless in my opinion, not sure why all vehicles don't come with the spray type nozzles. So you say autozone has stock looking ones that will fit, if not, the Murano ones will fit? I don't want those LED tuner lights - cheesy.

Good idea...I was driving my Dad's 05 Accord last week and it has awesome nozzles. Mine don't even wet my whole windshield when I use them.

sometimes the nozzles get clogged with stuff (in my case car wax) and they don't spray as well. before you run out and buy something, try to unclog the nozzles with a needle.

Yes they do get clogged over the years, I cleaned my 96I30 sprayers and the spray pattern is much better than before. Before I cleaned them it would almost dribble out on the windshield. Now that they are like new again, they spray stronger and clean the entire windshield. I would try this first befor buying new ones.

I have been dealing with clogged nozzles since the beginning of owning my car...I just don't use washer fluid...
It's something I need to do though, since driving on highways during the winter has made my windshield very, very dirty.

I cleaned mine a few weeks ago, but still no nice misty spray. It's just a jet of window washer fluid.

autozone nozzles are cheappp... i got em for 50 cents in a clearance bin. And the spray is awsome. The one thing i don't really like about them is that they are about 2 times the size of the stock squirters ( he he squirters)

They are all black just like stock.

The nozzles are just bolted through the hood, should be able to put any nozzle you want on the car. As long as the hose attaches, and even then u can make / buy an adapter for it.

Ill take a pic... gimme a few minutes

The two nozzles compared. Stock on Left. May be a little tough to tell the difference but once theyre in and youre sittin behind the wheel youll notice the sheer gerth haha..

Sorry it's a little blurry, guess I got too close.

This view is from under the hood. Just pull off the hose, and unscrew that black nut and it'll come right out.

thanks, very helpful. My nozzles definitely aren't clogged, they just suck compared to a nozzle that sprays the whole windshield. I went to the local Autozone today and they didn't have them. Gonna try Pep Boys tomorrow.

I checked today to get some prices on the Murano's and they're 9.99 a piece from Trophy Nissan in Mesquite. Courtesy would probably undercut them by a buck or so, but I have a parts guy looking at the altima's which are only 4 bucks a piece. He said he'd let me know if they squirted the same later today.

I guess you better be ready to submit this response in EVERY pic post on here. It happens in almost every single one.

Hey, anyone know how much fluid the washer reserve actually takes?

I haven't been able to find this information anywhere. It's such a pain in the a$$ to have to keep sticking my finger over the hole in the cap and pulling up the cap with the hose attached to see what level I'm at. Wouldn't be such a pain if there was at least a f&cking marking to tell me how much more to fill on the tube.

I agree with MaximaEvolution. I think the tank should hold a gallon of fluid. Anytime I've ever filled it its been almost all the jug.

To go along with the previous part of this thread, I actually have the LED's on my car. They are white so they dont look as cheesy. I had them on my old car when I was 16 so I kept them because my car is recognized by friends by the lights. But anyway, I have them positioned to shot up top on the inside and on the sides for the outter shooters. This makes sure that the entire windshield is covered when I squirt fluid. just a random $.02

So to clarify, the Murano ones are the spray mist type, and they do fit our openings? Are all Murano model years the same, or do I have to specify a specific year? I went to the Nissan stealer today, and they didn't have any that would work in stock, so he said he would order them for me, he just needed to know which ones. He wanted to avoid me giving him the wrong info, then having to keep ordering more and more until I found ones that fit, meanwhile he has extras on the shelf . . . they aren't really hot movers.

but i think i got mine for less than that....it just depends on what stealer you go to....IMO it was well worth the money....

Yeah, no kidding Einstein, I did that. He had 2 altima ones, not sure which year, which were identical to ours. He had 1 with 3 nozzles (not sure how that one sprayed), but it wouldn't fit correctly. He had a set off a Quest minivan, which were sprayers, but wouldn't fit . . . plus they looked like Cadillac fins, and stuck up about 2 inches.

Not exactly sure on price, but I'd say less than 10. One of the ones he showed me from his stock was $4.99.

I agree the stock ones suck, but ive never done anything about it. I thought they were alright until i got my work truck. If you wana see some sweet windshield spayers check out the ones on a Mazda/ Ranger truck. They look like they'd be a good fit too. They work awesome. I might have to look into this further.

I have a 94 mazda b2300 (Ford Ranger) and those things work awesome on it. sprays the whole freakin windshield!!

Try finding an older car (like overseaz Ranger/B2300) and get them from a junk yard. I bet they'll be damn near free.
