K-Sports installed
I finally installed my coilovers, but I have a few questions for those who already have them.
Is the clunking noise when you turn wheels to lock normal?
When they were aligned, the camber adjustment on top was all the way maxed towards the outside of the car and they had a hard time getting to zero on the drivers side. The passenger side seems ok though.
They seem really stiff, but I think I need to adjust them to relieve some of the bounciness. Any suggestions?

If they're having trouble getting it to align because you're out of adjustment its probably the spindle mounting bolts at the bottom. The top bolt can be adjusted to compensate for more or less camber.
As far as the stiffness, give them about a week or two and they'll be much better. Mine were so incredibly stiff when I put them on I almost wanted to pull them back off immediately. Its bearable now but still quite harsh at times.

I dont think it gets less stiff..I just think you get used to it..what spring rate did you get?
Try setting it to full soft..then work your way up from there to your liking
Enjoy your new coilovers

Full soft will be bouncy, wont be enough dampening which it sounds like he needs more of. I would try right around the middle (if its 6 full turns do 3) for the front and a little stiffer in the rear. I used that dampening setup on my D2s for street driving and found it to be quite compliant.

to fix the clicking noise, you just need to make sure everything is tight. Tighten the spring collars, tighten the allen screws at the bottom of the fronts, and tighten the pillow ball mounts. if all those are tight, then you wont hear any clicks.
The best shock settings for these are either one half-turn from full soft, or full stiff.
And yes, read the Ksport thread (here: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=406790)

I've already read the long thread from beginning to end.
I tightened everything well, but I am talking about a big clunk noise even when I am stopped if I turn the wheel from lock to lock. It sounds like the whole strut is moving in the front wheel wells. If this noise is normal I can deal with it, but I just want to make sure something isn't wrong.

IMO, what you're describing is not a normal noise.
Just to make sure, you...
- Made sure the correct strut was installed on each side (camber plate rails should be horizontal, not vertical);
- Made sure the camber plate bolts are as tight as you can make them by hand;
- Torqued the top mount nuts to ~40 lb-ft;
- Degreased the front strut mount nuts and bolts, and tightened them to at least 110 lb-ft;
- Tightened both lower mount collars on each side using a hammer on the collar wrenches; and
- Greased the rubber spring isolators?
If you've done all that, try re-torquing the top nut in the center of each front coilover to 40 lb-ft (you'll probably have to use something non-metal but very strong, e.g. vise grips with rubber pads, to hold the shock piston to keep it from rotating).
And if none of that fixes it, the problem is likely elsewhere. Either way, you can always call Ksport.

after break in they will be much softer...make sure the springs are not to tight.....take off sosme preload if you have any. also do not ride on full soft.....i do mine about 2 turns front and rear and have minimal preload. I had agx and s-techs and these are like GLE ride when compared to these....mine clicked at first but then went away. Make sure you hit all the perches hammer tight. It them with a hammer like 3 times to get them where they will not move......
also make sure after about 2 weeks you go and re-adjust everything after it settles....you will notice the car not improving on hadling much, but after you tighten everythign when it is set it feels a **** ton better....
