Wheel spec I need Help (Advise from experience)

Hey guys and Gals (if there are some),

I have a problem, this is the wheels that I want to purchase.

But my concerns are that the wheel with tires will be to big for my car. I feel believe that I will have problems when attempting to make a u-turn or in just during regular turns. DOES ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE WHEEL SPECS LIKE THESE?

18x8.5 +25 offset

If so please what tire size WILL BE THE BEST SIZE? I need to know what size will be the best to make sure I will not have any drive degradation, or hindrance. PLEASE, PLEASE people with experience with this size wheel post only . I only what to hear from those who know from experience, becuase these wheel are going to cost me a DOUGH LOW !

Thanks a lot

Man Maximous are you sure man the Nissan rep says that this wheel will be just inside the fender, but I am not sure if I trust them. I am sure all they want me to do is buy these bad boys and have me stuck with them. So please make sure you are for certain about this.

The outside edge of your tires and rims will be pushed out 39mm from the stock position... Thats like taking your stock wheels and putting 40mm spacers on them, for reference a 20mm spacer puts the stock wheels flush with the rear fenders.

Check it out here:

these wheels will be fine in the back, but not in the front. For the front you need like a 18x8 w/ a 35 mm offsett.

Stock offset is 45 mm for the 7 inch wide SE wheel.

We also have a F/S wheel & tire forum cause you will need it if you buy them.

BTW, you are looking at rims for the 350z, they also have ones for the Altima that are 18x8.5 with a 45mm offset that you can use.

callkiss- STOP ASKING QUESTIONS THEN ARGUING WITH THE ANSWERS!

If the Nissan rep told you something, and you want to continue to believe him despite our input, then do what you want.

Take-home message:
These wheels will rub
Altima wheels will not
You are posting in the wrong forum (Don't you think that 5th gen members frequent the WHEELS AND TIRES FORUM?)
SEARCH is your friend
STOP ARGUING WITH ANSWERS THAT YOU DON'T LIKE!!!

25mm offset, especially in that width, will stick out about 1 cm farther than your front wheel well lip.....it will look really dumb.

In a 8.5" wide wheel, stay with an offset of 35mm or more.

here is an example of a 8" wide whell with a 30mm offset. Yours would stick out roughly 1.5cm farther than these:

mine ^^^ are flush with the front lip. Yours would stick out and not look good, IMO.
