Ok my battery died. When I jumped it the radio worked but the cd in the player will not be ejcted or can I listen to it.

A freind of mine said I need a code because it has an antitheft system... is this true? if so how do I get the code?

no code, but you need to manually remove the disc. the same thing happened to me so i took it apart and slid the cd out. you may be able to stick some pliers in there (well something thin) and pull the cd out.

I've disconnected my battery plenty of times to work on assorted electrical stuff, and I always had a CD in it. To solve this, I hit eject, and a few days later the CD would usually randomly eject itself. Get an mp3 and AUX audio, problem solved.

Check to see if your radio has a small reset button. (usually the size of a ball point pen tip).

wow every time I disconnect the battery and reconnected it ejects on it own. What kind of HU do you have. If you don't want to mess up the cd don't stick anything thin or pliers to pull it out.

Battery eject mechanisms are not standard on Maximas.

remove the positive terminal cord from the battery(should be red) you will probably need some kind of wrench/rachet, wait a couple of seconds and them put it back on....this resets the memory on the stereo and the eject button might work after you REconnect the battery
