anybody know any places where i can get the best possible deals on universal mufflers..... preferably apexi n1, dunk, or arospeed...
also which muffler makes moderate sounds.... i don't want it too loud or too discreet...

I'll recommend to you what someone else on the forum earlier recommended to me. I got the Naxos tapered angle cut 4.5". It's a decent muffler, with decent sound (noticable basically from 1800 to 2700) can drone on the highway, but nice for regular driving. Ask around... I looked forever before gettin this one. And another thing... if you are getting straight through like I did, they really aren't all that different than one another... that is, if one is $320 (ahem, Stillen?)... and one is $165 (mine)... the lower priced one is probably allright. my $.02...

they sell all these imitation mufflers, like fake greddy, hks, apexi. they all do about the same thing though. i once went to my local fix up shop and the guy said his friend was selling a 96 GREDDY used muffler, i hopped up on that deal, it was cheap, and it was SWEET. Don't think i will find another deal like that again, only $175 for the whole catback.

my total price was around $150. sounds and looks pretty good to me. i want something louder though. anyone know what the loudest MUFFLER is? just wanna get it welded on if i have to.

 

I found a good deal on the Apex'i WS catback at www.rollhard.com . They want $360. I read that $400 is a great deal. I also read that this system, even with a y-pipe is fairly quiet.

 

I got the Nismo decals from a local shop called APG... and they are pretty tastful too, IMO. I don't really like the banner ones or very large ones, but these are cool:
