Bent my 19" Konig....any ideas

Well. I just put my 19s on last week. I'm riding on the horrible streets of Baltimore and bent one of them pretty bad on a pothole. It's still holding air and I can't really afford a new replacement. I paid $300 for 5 of them but the 5th wheel has a 5x120 bolt pattern. So now I'm stuck with 1 bent rim and 1 good rim that doesn't fit. This sucks. Any ideas on what to do? I can't think of a place or person that would trade wheels with me since it's a different size. The really bad part is that It's gonna cost me the price of all 5 wheels just to buy 1 new. Post ideas. I will post pics when I get home.

well you did get such a good price for the rims that it wouldn't be too bad to just for over the same for a new one, but i know what you mean. there are places that do fit bent and broken rims. check the yellow pages and call around to different shops. maybe in the regional forums someone can help you with some place local.

i would say try to see if it's repairable first. take it to some wheel shops near you and see what they say. i was quoted $150 to get one of mine fixed, but it got stolen before i could do it.

there are a lot of places that can fix any rim, whether its curbed or dented. cost is around 100 depending on how bad it is. search on google for places in your area that can repair a damaged rim

Sorry to hear about your loss, This is my worst nightmare. The streets around here are a mess as well. If you were a cop driving behind me you would pull me over for D.W.I. because I swerve so much to avoid the holes. Phone book is my guess. Good Luck
