Got my Zt-2 wideband and timming belt pops!

Well yeah It dont seem that I can get it all together now. Finally got over hard times and got my wide band in and installed it saturday morning. Well I just put this engine togther about 3 months ago (Blew a tranny and was donw for a month from then) Had Scott (boosted maxima) port the heads and we added some nice iskey cams to it. And I put it back together and have had it running for about 3 month and finally got the wide band in on saturday. Well decided not to get on it to hard intill I got back from this trip this week end I took up state.Well on the way all of a sudden the car just cuts right off. No power lose or anything. So I pull over and are like WTF! ok It would not recrank. So I knew a a sensor had to shut it down. SO I check the ecu for codes and got the cam positon sensor and the knock sensor . So I check for fuel pressure and it was fine then I found I had no spark. WEll I took off the distributor cap and seen the rotor button wasnt spinning. So I call mtcookson to see if He had any Ideas about it And said If I was luck the distributor had broke. So on the side of I-26 I took it out and seen that it was fine and when I spent it over the cams would not turn. Im just hoping the new upgraded valve spring I put it would have may return the valve and none are bent. Dam and the wide band was so sweet too.

How did you set tension on the belt?

Too tight and it has a slight whine to it....

Too loose and it skips or breaks.

Proably what happend..

Hope those valves didn't bend

Good luck,

Scott~
