350Z injectors with 350Z ECU?

This might be a re-post or just a stupid question......but if you were to pair the 335cc injectors from the 350Z and the ECU from it as well, then would this result in power gains, or just pointless fuel waste? Thanks and sorry if this is in the wrong sections or if it's a re-post.

chances are the 350z ecu won't work.

Additional fuel capacity isn't going to help you unless you can get more air into your engine to burn it with.

You share the same ecu connector with the 350Z but I do not know if the pinouts are identical. You will lose your VIAS control if you switch ecus.

The Z ecu may provide a little more aggressive tune (ig timing and afr) but you would be able to attain that and more with a number of aftermarket engine management systems.

right now we have members running a g35 ecu, and a z ecu in the 6th gens.

they both need some debugging, but they work fine...

as for injectors and more fuel, just get a technosquare ecu and have them program the injectors to dump more fuel...

wait till I get mines all set before you do anything...

The best option for most is to just get Z33 L-Spec software, with a 315cc injector map, from TS.

Since you have an A34, your option of using the Z33 ECU is more applicable compared to A33B's.

TS may still charge you full price for the Z tune though.

I wouldn't alter anything fuel related (i.e injectors etc) unless your a/f shows a need for more fuel, and you're at your limit with your current A34 set-up.

For a A34? Yes. Iv'e plastered that all over the A34 forums. I still say it probably needs the patch harness though.

Unfortunately they can get away with it because we dont have any other viable alternatives.

Oh, and does it really get rid of that dip in the midrange where the VI kicks in?
