That's illegal. Why would you want it anyways?

 

i have it on my car, and i don't really care about it being illegal. and if there's on coming traffic your brights are off anyways. here's the write up i used.

I thought about doing that too. A few days ago, I did the rewire and kept it so they turn off with the highbeams. Last night, I was trying to figure out why the fogs wouldn't work, and I was gettin kind of pissed because I thought I did a good job of splicing everything and then I realized that the high beams were on. That might be a good reason for me to do it

 

technically modifing a car from stock is illegal.

thats how i originally rewired my fogs and mine still turn off with the high beams. I think the earlier method is the one to use.

btw, the reason i was thinking about doing it with standard halogen bulbs is that when your highbeams are on, the light is further down the road, and having my fogs still be on would illuminate right infront of me aswell.
