o man, the mustang gt thread is still going on... ok anyways, i pulled to a light right next to a shiny silver TL Type-S. we glimpsed over and checked out eachothers car and the light turns green. we take off a little bit faster than normal, not WOT, driving and pace eachother to 20 mph then im like what the hell. so i gun it in first at 20mph and as soon as i get a car length on him, he guns it too. he stays on my tail till the end of first and starts pulling on me slowly. then by 70ish mph, he is about even with me and then at about 95ish, he is half a car in front. we then call it quits and he gives me the thumbs up and turns off. what a nice guy, this is the second time i got a thumbs up and i think its the best way to end a race, win or lose. but ive only got thumbs up on my losses, first thumbs up loss was to a old hatchback with a ls/v-tec swap that tore me up on the freeway and at the lights. its all good and fun.

Ya, I raced one and pretty much the same thing happened to me. They are a little faster stock vs. stock. But remember, they're autos. If Acura ever gets a clue and puts a 6-speed behind it it'll really haul a$$

 

Actually they did get a clue recently... word is the CL-S will get a 6 speed manual box. They are still wondering about the TL-S though.
