Got yelled at for using sea foam

I found this to be pretty funny. I had a 3 part fuel system clean at valvoline done about 3,000 miles ago on my max so I thought it got most of the crap out of the system. I got some deep creep today and used it on my camaro. I don't think it was that bad in the camaro cause I didn't get too much smoke out the tail pipe. I decided what the hell and used what was left over in the max. I currently live in an apartment complex and all the buildings are pretty close together. After I put the sea foam in, I gave it a little rev and WOW there was A LOT of smoke. So I pulled out to take it for a quick ride to blow all the crap out. Even if I tapped the gas, it would smoke like crazy. So I got back and there were 3 ladies standing in my parking spot. As soon as I got out, they started SCREAMING at me saying I gassed out their apartments saying they have pets and kids and how i've got some nerve. So after taking enough crap from them I got pissed and told them to f*** off among some other things said. They threatened to call the cops next time. But whatever, the cop would probably laugh in their face. If anyone plans on using this stuff, I would recommend doing it away from other people or you may get yelled at like I did lol.

I got 208K so maybe that's why it was so bad.

Try some auto-rx. I've seen good results. I have about 300 miles and I can start the pahse where you have to use regular motor oil.

Get 2 bottles because your motor is over 100k.

LOL, Im going to do my sea foam treatment at the park tomorrow. Thanks for the headsup...

Please tell me you weren't at Valvoline getting an oil change? If you are, you need to stop going there because their oil/gas treatment/anything to do with valvoline is not good..I learned THAT the hard way...

Very funny thing. How bad was the smoke? And where do you guys buy this thing and about how much do you need of it.

I've heard a lot about this stuff. My question is: is it safe to do, and does it do what it's supposed to do....what kind of result will it give?

i use deep creep(aersol form of seafoam)
i did the brake booster method on the maxima with 130k, then clean the TB manually, and spray some more into the intake manifold
Result: better respond..... not my car so i can really tell
I also did it on altima with 130k, there is a small vacuum hose right in front of the TB and i can remove it easily and spray seafoam from there
Result: quoting my sister becasue it's her car: "what did you do to my car? it's more powerful than before"
I did it on my frontier, spray direct at TB with air filter remove
Result: better respond, 1-2 mpg improvement

yes if u do it correctly meaning follow the directions and when it says pour slowly u poor SLOWLY. It took me about 5 mins to pour 1/3 pint thru my brake booster. And i only did it thru the brake booster. Nothing went into the gas tank or the crank case.

Final result, i didnt have much smoke coming out andi didnt notice any change really.

The throttle response improved a lot. It also feels more powerful at WOT. BTW no I didn't get my oil changed at valvoline. My friend works there so he got me the treatment for about half the price. I personally wouldn't use valvoline oil.

There was a ton of smoke. I don't really know how to explain it. It wasn't anywhere near as bad when I got the fuel treatment done as it was when I used the sea foam. It was probably as bad as taking 20 of those little smoke bombs and lighting them off at the same time only it did it for a while. I know I gassed out the people driving behind me. It smoked even more than the worst oil burning car i've ever seen. I got mine at advanced auto. I used about half a can of sea foam deep creep. It seems to work better than just dumping the liquid can of sea foam in. I put half a can of normal sea foam in my fathers car and it only smoke for a couple seconds and there was hardly any smoke. There was more smoke when I used the deep creep on the camaro and especially the max. The max smoked REALLY bad.

As I said above, from my experience I think the deep creep works better (aerosol version). Seems to blow out a lot more smoke which I would guess indicates that it's doing it's job better.

i used the liquid version a while back, i liked it, increased throttle response. Autozone was out of deep creep so i just tried the liquid. I would like to try the deep creep. (I had my engine running and used the brake booster to suck up the liquid...very very fast!)

I used the spray Deep Creep can. There was a guy who posted a video of how to do it via the intake manifold vacuum hose. I sprayed it right into the vacuum into the intake manifold and didn't have any smoke. I haven't really noticed a lot of difference but I guess I didn't spray enough in
