I'm about to swap out my bumper for the 97-99 front bumper. I am going to get the bumper where I got all my other 97-99 products, from autodirectsave.com. So, what do I need? Is the front bumper the only thing I'll need? The site shows a diagram that have the filler panel and bumper reinforcement. Do I need that or just the front bumper cover? I just want to make sure. I know that a few of you 95-96 guys have done the swap, so I would appreciate your help. Oh, I want to get the bumper with the front light holes, so I could put in the 97-99 factory fogs in there. How much would it cost for the fogs? I checked, but not sure if this website sell the fogs.

ok for se conversion....front bumper....front grill...and fog light kit.....everything should line up...except for one thing....there is a bracket next to the headlight....that bracket will be too high for the 97-99 bumper....either modify it or just rip it off like i did...there are other gizmo that the 97-99 has but it's not necessary such as shock absorber and reinforcement thingy's and shiit like that....

Its exaxctly the same. I dont know why he stated SE. The only thing different with the SE is that the grill is body colored versus the Chrome.
I did this with my max and its a gxe,...only now i have an SE grill

he stated SE because SE is the ONLY trim that comes with front bumper PRECUT for fog lights.

This may be dumb question... but is there anyway that you can just put the 97-99 grille on the 1995 bumper?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I have a question about it! Do I just need the front bumper cover for the 97-99 swap or the whole bumper assembly?

vq30de420, I can see by your name why you would bump an eleven year old bumper thread for your engine swap and LSD question. Step away from the reefer son.
