When I put the A/C - Heater into fan #1 the compressor starts up but I get no air. 2-4 work just fine. Could it be the resistors under the passanger side (can just one go bad?)

Also, my car only blows air to my face regardless of what is selected, as far as I remember it has always done this. The car was stripped a while back so just about everything was spliced in (no wire harness for most components) so it's possible some things may not be wiried up just right. Assuming the AC/Heat unit is wired in right, what should I check?
