replacing tie rods

Hey guys,
i havent been around for a year or so but i am pretty sure my passenger side tie rod is messed up. It makes the small creaking sound when i turn the wheels at lower speeds. So I am pretty sure this is the problem. Has anyone replaced these and do they know how hard of a task this is or how long it should take. I have all tools i would need and jacks and such so let me know what you think.

Thanks

I've never heard of tie rods making noise when turning. The creeking probably is suspension realted, axle, or ball joint.

But replace the inner tie rod will take around 1hr to do. Space will be limited, and you'll need an inner tie rod tool to get it off. I rented one from autozone and it would hardly do the job.

torque wrench will be needed, and go straight for an alignment after replaceing the inner tie rod.

you can reach the inner tie rod with normal tools if you turn the steering wheel all the way.
