but for my car i bought 9003

H4 and 9003 are the same thing. You're fine

 

Isn't HB2 also equivalent to H4? Could be wrong though.....

I need some help in buying some PIAA lights. What do you guys recommend? What size and what kind and how much should i spend for a pair?

 

depends on what kind of light you want. White light or the HID look? For white light the Superwhite would be the one to get, while the Plasmas will give you the HID look.

Buy the Xtreme Whites from PIAA or Galaxy Whites from CATZ. Look to www.autobulbdepot.com for sizes and factory wattage. The bulbs have a small hint of blue but are clearly stronger than Superwhite. Super Plasmas look almost purple and throw of less light. The new CATZ look good via description but have not seen on a Maxima yet....
