curse of the intake manifold gaskets

I'm replacing the knock sensor and got new intake manifold gaskets online. When I went to put on the new gaskets I noticed one was dented and slightly bent. I flattened it and put it on anyway, but now I wonder if it will leak. Anyone have any thoughts or experience on this?

The tough part is that I haven't gotten the whole thing back together yet so I don't know if it will leak. I've put the lower manifold back on, but not the upper plenum yet, so I can't test it till it's all back together, and by then there's much more time into this assembly. I also don't want to start it up and do damage.

If it does leak when you get it back together,it is not going to damage anything...It will just run like smelly @ss..

If it was me doing the job,i would get another gasket so i didn't have to tear it apart again...

That's kind of what I thought. I was just hoping for a different answer.

I don't think you will have a problem with it so long as it lines up right, because once you put the lower MF on its going to squeeze everything together pretty tight, only if there was a tear would I be worrier.
