Is a hi flow catt a worthwhile mod?

I have searched through some of the posts and it seems that there is not a general consensus on gains a hi flow catt provides. Can any one give me some insight? I would like to get a y-pipe (probably from warpspeed). I am wondering if I should replace my existing catt with a high flow one. I do not plan on racing but I will be buying a CAI soon. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chotto

with the y-pipe you will notice the power gain. the high flow cat ive heard doesnt give any noticable gain but removing the whole cat is a diffrent story.

If you get a high flow cat it wont do much unless you have a y pipe,catback,muffler...you know the works then the high flow cat will complement them.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will just get the y-pipe and maybe get a catt later when if I have added all the other exhaust mods. Thanks again!
