I bought just the wheels for $400, but I haven't seen anymore that price...i've been looking still due to the fact that I need a new one, Hit a good size pot hole.....There is a lot of caliper room but don't know how much more clearance I need for bbk (cobra/300zx). If anyone has measurments let me know if you want me to measure them....

Short Mag

Use washers with them....

the mag length of that seems to be ideal...I have the one that is .75in long and i need thick washers to make sure the lug doesn't hit the rotor hub to make sure they are tightend down...

so open ended lug nuts would work right? and 20lbs isn't too shabby.

Looks good. I'm surprised not more people have already done this since those wheels look pretty good, are relatively cheap, and are light. I've been thinking of getting these myself as auto-x wheels.

I just got a set of these wheels. Why do you need washers to make them fit? That does not sound safe. I am using them for autocross and I doubt I can make it though tech with a bunch of washers stacked under a lug nut. Are you using wahers because the tapered part is too long?

What lugnuts can I use with out using washers?

What are the specs on the Evo's studs? Same thread pitch/size as ours? If so, why not use the OEM Evo lugnuts, since they should fit correctly in the wheel, no need for washers.

the thread pitch is not the same. The evo is 12x1.5 and the max is 12x1.25.

I got them on ebay, but I am sure you can get them on an evo forum too.

can you please tell me where to find thse short shank mag lug nuts in a 12x1.25 pitch. The only thing I am finding are 12x1.5 pitch. Also did the washer come with the lug nuts or did you buy them seperate? If you got them seperate what size did you use and where did you get them?
