Converting Clearance lights into blinkers

Does anyone know where i can find a write up for converting my clearance lights into blinkers and my current blinkers into lights that come on with the headlights?

just swap the bulbs and sockets. You will need to enlarge some of the openings because they are shaped differently. I have the 95/96 corner wiring (dual filaments) in my corners and swaped the bumper blinkers to running lights.

Snip the power wires to the blinker and clearance lights. Splice the wire for the blinker into the wire going to the clearance light. Then splice the clearance wire into the snipped blinker wire. You may need to add a few pieces of wire to make up the distance. Done.

its really simple. the blinkers off the clearance housings are REALLLLLY bright at night and light up the whole sides of the car like a foglight. I've already made my bumper lights alternate blinking, and am soon going to have the clearance light as another blinker. can't have a light idly on with no function.

I the wire harness for the blinker and pulled it up to the corner light, and I have it so that my bumper lights do not go on at all.

It is NOT a good idea to start cutting wires.

I have swapped my lights around so many times.
This is stock marker light (194), blinker wired same as marker light(1156), and clearance light wired for both parking and blinker(1157):

Check out page 2 of my home page for various shots of the lights. If you see one you really like post it and Ill tell you how to do it.

Is this a mod or is this a factory feature. For clarification purposes we are talking about the light next to the headlight correct. I've seen this light shine brightly when you signal kinda like a Caddy. My 96 doesn't do it, is there something I've missed. I've checked my fuses traced and inspected the wires for breaks or loose connections all good so what's up?
