Punk,

You are thinking of the Skyline GT-R which is a coupe. Remember, the regular Skyline is a sedan. What you see here is the next generation of Skyline sedan. We shall see what the next generation GT-R brings to the table.

Ahh... well.. if it ain't a GT-R then I don't think it deserves to be called a Skyline.

You mean like having red snakes slithering under your hood? Grab a gutter guard and keep those snakes at bay...or should I say in the bay??

The G20 was derived from the Sentra not the Altima

Very nice front. Can't wait to see the specs. Rear wheel drive and 260+ HP V6 is a great start. I wonder if they will put the 280+ version of the VQ35DE in it.

Hate to say it but....

The front looks like a mutated Celica (I said mutated) and the back looks sorta like a Dodge Intrepid! I am not sure even if I had the capability to purchase that I would.

well...

my point wasnt so much about the g20=sentra, but that they have this new 'world platform' thing going. Kinda like VW/AUDI. big cost savings. This thing looks ALOT like the new ALTIMA. If so, they will find out the hard way that customers get alittle confused and disappointed with the shared platform concept. when the know that upper line cars are based off lower ones (and less profitable), they snag up the cheap ones thinking they have the same car for less money (A4 vs. Passat is just one example, LS vs Jag is another).

dont worry people, the GT-R is coming to US shores... and NO it is NOT going to be styled based on the regular skyline sedans/coupes as they traditionally were.

Major Dissapointment

Ya know, this skyline sucks. I've seen the old old 4 door skylines and they would even kick this skyline's butt. Those classics were the best of their time. Well, I thought that the ressurection of the 4 door skyline would've been better with the v8 Nissan said was going to be put in it. But Nissan said, "no, we'll put in a v6 because we don't want the v8 in it."

i know i'm ranting but i'm flamed ok? Nissan is ****ing me off now.

Right on target

Infiniti needs a car to compete in the small sport sedan category where BMW, Audi, and Lexus rule. I think the G35 will be the perfect solution. You can all mope about the emminent departure of the G20, or blasphamy of using the "Skyline" name but this car is right on the mark as far as I am concerned.

Cheers for Nissan, another good move.
