Factory housings. The aim on the left one is actually ever-so-slightly downward due to messing with the mounting bracket.

Here is a pic with H1 in both housings:

This may actually be less useable light output. The bulbs are supposedly 100 lumens more, but the light is spread out more (different focal point since the bulb sits slightly farther away from the reflector) and won't look as bright I don't think. We'll see tonight when it gets dark, though.

I'm still doing the projectors. Buying them tommorrow, as a matter of fact. This was just an experiment for the fun of it since I had free H1 bulbs. Also, don't count out this setup just yet.

It actually has it's benefits. While it only provides useful light up to about 5 ft. in front of the car (useless, since you can't see it) it shoots off a somewhat narrow beam of light to each side of the car almost as far as my projectors put out light. This increases your side vision tremendously.

I guess it's all on preference Either way, I'm going with the projectors, I want TRUE "fog" capabilities (since I have HIDs). If I were sticking with the stock housings, though, I might almost consider keeping this setup and getting some H1 +50 bulbs.
