I'm pretty sure that if you go to vortech's website: www.vortecheng.com they say what the difference in the actual blowers is. I believe that it is only that the V2 blower is a SuperQuiet Version.

Skimax would be better at answering this question.. but anyways..

V1's have that huge yellowish steel plate that you bolt onto the side (i ran around for hours findin those bolts) .. and theyre noisy. (mine even moreso)

performance wise, they should be the same. There is also a quietting option where you can send your V1 unit into vortech for service. Estimated price is 290 and downtime of about a week. (Assuming you can rip it out and bolt on yourself..)

Thats the actual blower unit. If you're talkin about the stillen kit, the V2 has a plastic idler pulley, which has been known to cuase problems. Also, it bolts on differently, and from what I know, the V2 also comes with a CAI, whereas the V1 comes with this UFO thing that bolts right onto the blower. (modified mine with a CAI anyways)

Hope I helped n didnt screw up too bad.
