From driving a rental 6th Gen Max SE for the last couple of weeks, I've noticed that its toruqe steer is minimal compared to my car. When I go WOT, my torque steer is kinda violent. I know my suspension is fine as my dealer recently tightened everything and replaced the front drop links. So is there something very different on the 6th gen compared to the 5.5gen suspension wise?

 

The chassis, for one thing, is different. That said, torque steer on my car went down significantly when i changed tires.

if the previous driver of that 6th gen was really pushing the car, the ecu learned their driving habits and adjusted the power output accordingly to lower the odds of wheelspin. remove the positive cable from the battery for awhile and let the ecu reset. reconnect, enjoy!

the torque steer was crazy when i first WOT my 6th gen, but it doesn't pull as hard anymore.
