seaFoam anyone?...is it good?
some guy i met off the org
told me that they hav used some product called seafoam from autozone....to clean your whole motor system out.......
from what i hear ...ur suppose to spray it in the manifold....and rev ur engine ...and it blows out white smoke and cleans ur engine head and fuel system...getting rid of sludge and all kinds or crap that shouldnt be there
.
its suppose to restore lost horsepower, torque and have ur motor running like new...
do yall think this stuff is good for the max??
any ever used it?...

... well acutally the best method.... accordign to what ive read and have tried(only the brake booster method)
anyhow i let the brake booster line suck it up... and it works very well and yes alot of smoke...
makes the motor feel smoother..

i've always worried about using seafoam. Not because of what it can do, but the amount of smoke it creates. Im worried that maybe one of the neighbors might call the cops or the fire dpmt because of the smoke, and then ill be issued a citation or something.

don't worry about that. it'll go away. if you're neighbors are that ****, i'd move.
first... i suggest getting a manual and or a haynes manual. i have both just for good measure :P
seafoam is great! pour it into a cup and unhook the brake booster cable (on the right side of your engine compartment is a big circle looking object on the firewall - it has the cable on it - someone post pics :P).
it will try and kill the engine so mabe you want someone to help you rev the engine so it wont die (if your a noob, there is a wire in the engine bay that will rev it for you so you dont have to press the gas pedal).
wait until the bottle is all gone (keep pouring into cup until done).
go on the express way and watch everyone get the heck away from your car because of all the smoke.
then mabe a day or two later change your oil. (i do this before every oil change ever 8k miles or so).
