how much for CV joint replacement??

I got a quote from a shop for $300 for both axles, is this a good price? I just want to make sure ...thanks

If you are getting two remanufactured axle shafts, and the $300 includes installation, that is a good price.

Rebuilt axles usually cost about $60-$100 bucks each. The figure an hour labor 4 each side ($65-$80 bucks an hour) depending on the shop. So I'd say your doin pretty good.
